St. James Lennoxville is committed to being a safe, Christ-centred space for everyone. We follow the Safety, Response & Care policies of the Anglican Diocese of Canada (ADOC).
We take concerns about abuse and misconduct seriously. If you have experienced abuse or misconduct, or have information about harm involving someone in our church or Diocese, we encourage you to report it.
If You Are Concerned About Abuse or Misconduct
If a child or vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call 911 or contact the Sherbrooke Police immediately.
If you are aware of abuse or misconduct that may constitute a crime, please contact the appropriate local authorities first. You may then also report the matter to the Diocese's Safety, Response & Care (SRC) Team.
Misconduct may include, among other things:
Sexual harassment
Discrimination
Financial impropriety
Abuse of authority
Other behaviour prohibited by diocesan policies or canons
How to Report to the Diocese
The Diocese's Safety, Response & Care (SRC) Team receives reports of abuse and misconduct.

Your message will be received by the SRC Team, who will follow up with you. The Diocese's goal is to respond to every report within 72 hours.
